Every student from Knox County Schools'  Beaumont School and Magnet Honors Academy , from kindergarten through fifth grade, will visit the ETHS Museum this school year.   They will also visit the Knoxville Zoo, Ramsey House Plantation, the Frank H. McClung Museum and Knoxville Museum of Art as a part of the new Beaumont-Museum Partnership program.   By Christmas, Beaumont kindergarteners and fifth graders will have visited the museum once and the fourth graders twice.

Beaumont ’s teachers have had great things to say about the ETHS museum and programs:

"The students had lots of questions about the wagon and log cabin being built in the museum.  It was fun and required a lot of thinking on their part."

"We loved the supply and demand lesson.  It really called for higher order thinking skills for the kids to process the differences."
