Reservations - The new East Tennessee History Center, 601 South Gay Street, Downtown Knoxville
When--Education programs can be scheduled Monday through Friday. We can schedule tours at the museum from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Other times are available upon request. For outreach programs, we can begin at 8:30 a.m. Cost--$2 per child for museum or classroom student programs (students on fee waiver are FREE). Program fees can be paid at the time of the visit. If an invoice is required, let us know when making reservation. Location of the East Tennesee History Center 601 South Gay Street at the corner of Gay and Clinch Avenue, directly across from the Tennessee Theater in downtown Knoxville. The East Tennessee History Center houses the East Tennessee Historical Society, The Knox County Archives, and the Calvin M. McClung Historical Collection. Contact the East Tennessee Historical Society education staff to arrange tours or research visits to the archives or the McClung Collection.
