The Knox County Archives receives, processes, and preserves the permanent records created by the Knox County, Tennessee government. It contains records from 1792 to the present. Knox County Records Management stores current records and the Knox County Archives manages historical records. The Archives provides local government source material to court officials, genealogists, legal professionals, historians, and the general public.

Non-certified copies are $2.00 for the first page and $.60 for each additional page per visit. Certified copies are $5.00 for the first page and $.60 for each additional page per visit.
